Refine Detail 

For clients looking to further enhance their vehicles exterior paintwork with an even deeper & glossier shine only achievable through machine polishing. 

Includes a full exterior Detail. The paint thickness is checked using a Paint Thickness Gauge (PTG) to asses condition and identify any areas of respray or repair. The vehicle is then machine polished with a light cut polish to remove minor surface swirl marks and light scratches as well as dramatically enhancing your paintworks shine and gloss. To finish the polished paintwork is then sealed and protected with 2 coats of a quality wax or paint sealant. Please note due to the cost and timescales involved this service is aimed at newer cars not requiring full paint defect correction. 

Estimated duration 1 - 2 days, outline of work involved below;  

  • Exterior Detail as our Renew Detail
  • Paint assesment using a Paint Thickness Gauge (PTG)
  • Machine polish using a light cut polish
  • Application of 2 coats of quality carnuba wax (or sealant) to protect paint & enhance shine

  1. A Small Car is defined as vehicles up to a Ford Focus hatchback in size, a Saloon Car is anything from a 3 series saloon upwards including all sports & prestige cars.
